Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Oct 31, 2008 11:00 am Hi,
We have a two storey house that has ducted heating and air conditioning. It is controlled by a Honeywell Chronotherm thermometer. Next to the thermometer are two switches for up/down stairs. This setup is bit silly because if we wish to heat/cool upstairs there is no thermostat control and the unit just keeps running. So my question is what additional hardware do I ned so that I still can maintain the two zones, but incorporate a thermostat upstairs? We already have one of the 4 bedrooms upstairs with a split a/c and I am wondering at which point do we use the central a/c or just keep installing additional splits. We already have 4 compressors on the outside of the house and I don't really want anymore! Thanks for any input. Ray. I have a home gym at home. It weights 150KG including the weight stack. I'm a big boy, around 150KG myself. I was thinking about moving it up stairs to the second… 0 6304 Our standard double-glazed window is tested to achieve, Rw 34, and can be glazed to suit Rw 39.
