Tv Fireplace placement in large lounge room

Hi all,

My first post, we are building a house and can’t decide the layout of the lounge room. We have a large N/W facing window and are wanting to have a wood slow burner installed into a 2.5 m wide x 2.7 m high stone fireplace , position not yet decided.

The problem is we can’t decide if the TV should go above the fireplace or on another wall. Trying to work out the room with the window and view vs the TV and fireplace feels like everything is competing…not to mention the lounge / chair layout. I have read plenty on the pros and cons of TV above fireplace (if you’ve done it above wood burner would appreciate your experience) but I am still leaning that way.

Any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
