I am planning to install one after handover. I am also hoping to get some tips on what to tell builder for when adding provisions for the system to be installed after handover Re: Best reasonable ducted a/C installer in Melbourne 2Mar 20, 2022 5:25 am If you live in Victoria never ask a electrician to install an aircon for you. I'm not saying that they are all doing bad jobs but I had 2 times water and refrigerant leaking from a new system. Electricians are allowed to install air coins since few years ago and have by far not as much experience as heating and cooling plumbers. I'm a developer in Melbourne and came across a small company called Orange Heating and Cooling, in Chadstone their price was good and the workers are 20 plus years experienced heating cooling plumbers . I would never go with big companies as they always send apprentice to do the job and if something goes wrong you have to wait for months for them to come back and repair it. Seems good to me. I've been told $4-5k/sqm is reasonable in Perth. 2 12243 Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house. Does this placement sound reasonable to you?
