(no windows) Have an elevated steel framed steel clad house facing north with skillion roof and good insulation but still very warm at the western end. Thinking 70% shade cloth (to minimise wind flap) suspended from the eve maybe 100mm from the wall. Thoughts? There are other types of material based solar screens available too but they are a fair bit more expensive but with their frames they look a lot better.
