I think it is absolutely awesome. From memory (when I first saw this featured a while ago) the building is being completely renovated or demolished, or something, when this installation is over. The artist is Richard Wilson - he has done some pretty interesting work...I saw his 20:50 when it was at the ANG...a total mind bender - his major premise seems to be about challenging people's perceptions of the environments around them...which can be said about a lot of great artists. Re: You have to see this! 6Mar 21, 2008 1:24 pm Well….that explains it then.

You do remember how much the ANG paid for Blue Poles back in the 80's don't you? And Pollock was a drunk who walked around the canvas dumping paint on it... I would rather pay Wilson for his work any day. Re: You have to see this! 8Mar 21, 2008 1:43 pm Yes….anyone can do a Pollock!

I even looked up a rotator on the web, but I couldn’t get a good photo of one! I can say……I would love to be a part of something like that, just to see how it’s all done!
