Robovac

Well sorry, after paying $400+ for an automated vacuum cleaner that is meant to do it all, that was a big waste of money. I am glad I didn't go for the LG or Panner (which cost a lot more). It gets stuck on everything that we have around the house and we are not prepared to have to move every single item from our living area just for the Robby (the Robovac) to do its job.

Set it loose and come home from work and yet again it is stuck on or under something. Set it loose when I have been home and U basically have 2 follow it around to keep stopping it from getting caught on or under items of furniture.

Just a big waste of money for another item that is meant to make life easier, crap!!!!

Want 2 know more, spend your money on a good Vac.

We bought one online (not sure what brand it was) and it was a waste of time and money. We threw it in the bin after a short while.

DH has recently installed a Hide a Hose ducted vacuum and it's fantastic. We used to have a ducted vacuum and decided we'd save money and just go with a normal vacuum this time around. What were we thinking! Once you've had a ducted vacuum you really don't want to go back. The super duper Miele we bought burnt out its motor in the first six months and was just a pain in the butt to use.

if under warranty, try get a refund. Consumer law stipulates if the product does not do satisfactorily what it is advertised to do, you should be entitled to a refund.

If you'd have gone with the LG, you'd have a different experience; my Roboking actually works well, well enough that we are considering a second one so we can have one at home and another at work.

Only problem area are electrical cords.

Last night I asked a friend who had one and he said that you have to make sure you also have an obstacle free house as much as possible too - no lounge suites with legs - the solid sided type are better, coffee tables with the lower shelf at least the height of the Robovac or higher, etc

I've sais this several times in the past ... the only good one I've ever seen is a Roomba. Even the higher priced competition doesn't work as good as a Roomba.

I have iRobot Roomba 790 and can't complain about it at all. It is working really well. Of cause you still will need to use regular vacuum cleaner for tight spots. However, now I do it once in 2-3 months.
I also bought the latest iRobot Scooba model, but don't like it as much as Roomba

my lg is perfect it even goes over my laptop charger

was very sceptical to pay $700 but it works and verry happy

I have a neato, no issues with it getting stuck either, unless you leave sheets of paper on the ground, or have straggly carpet.

I had a roboking, it never did what it was supposed to, always got lost, couldn't find home, would often get stuck on the same thing and just go flat trying to find its home.. It had cameras to "map" the house but never did it!
