Front garden slopes dwon from the path down to the house. Have built a small retaining wall to give us a small path from the front to side and we want steps from the front door, up to the path. I can make these steps and install them but here is my question. I will need to dig out the slope to install the steps and then at the end we will need the whole front stripped back and turfed by a pro. I am thinking it would be best to get the landscaper to dig the steps after they have cleared the plot for the lawn. Then I install the steps and they come back and install the turf. The better half says install the steps, then when all is done they can come and clear the rest and lay the turf. Problem is the steps will make it more difficult for them to clear the block.
