Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 28, 2020 9:36 pm Hi All i have recently dug up some very high and questionable diy concrete slabs around my property. The back gutter has a connection to a water pipe that(i guess) leads to the stormwater drain at the front. The side has no connection to a drain(connecting to the existing one is questionable since both me and my neighbour feed rain water into it and it could get overloaded). The larger area (without drainage) previously had a terrible diy slope towards the house then out under the gate through the concrete carport to the drain. The whole block is built on concrete slabs on very very slow draining hard packed clay. My question is do i have any other options other than to recreate this style of drainage?? I ultimately want to put down paving and some raised garden beds (not horrible concrete) but dont want water pooling and sitting anywhere or the clay becoming like mud in heavy rain. I added an image layout of the area for reference. Thanks everyone Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi all, We are looking to build a new two storey house in western Sydney.
