Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 16, 2020 9:31 am My Sir Walter lawn was doing well even though the warm months, until that torrential rain event hit Sydney. Since then I’ve had parts of the lawn turn to straw but it doesn’t look to me like the images I’ve seen online as a result of army worms as they aren’t whole patches. That said I’ve noticed a lot of black beetles outside and found this little one yesterday. I have read that these black beetles don’t actually do much damage though. I’ve aerated, fertilised, seasol’d and used water crystals over the past few months but the lawn just isn’t growing fast at all. By comparison the front lawn is more than ready for a mow every week. What do you think of the below?
