Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 28, 2008 9:47 am I AM PLANING ON PUTTING UP A HEBAL FENCE AROUND OUR NEW HOUSE WOULD LIKE TO BUILD UP GROUND LEVEL ON INSIDE OF FENCE ABOUT 300 MM TO MAKE GARDEN MORE LEVEL AND USABLE
IS IT POSSIBVLE TO DO THIS WITH HEBEL POWER FENCE ? HAS ANYONE DONE THIS. Re: HEBEL 2Sep 29, 2008 10:46 am I've worked with the smaller hebel blocks(600mm wide), and I was told they are non structural. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend they be used for retaining walls.
If you actually look at them, they are very porous and light. I'm not sure if the panels are steel reinforced, but even if they were, I'd imagine they wouldnt be recommended for structural applications. Of course, your local supplier will know. Re: HEBEL 3Sep 06, 2009 12:10 pm Hi all, I am bumping this thread to get any info and experiences with using Hebel PowerFence products as a boundary fence. These units seem dirt cheap to buy and install (compared to brick and not that much more than pailing) and from what I can tell will give me a lot more longevity then using Colourbond or Blue Board.. http://www.hebelaustralia.com.au/homeowners/homefencesystems.aspx Oh ! and happy fathers Day * Are we there yet ? I was looking at different options for a fence for my build and Hebel PowerFence seemed like a good option (one of the criteria was a solid wall look). However, I don't… 0 4849 1 5045 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 3665 |
