On the side opposite the house will be a small garden bed with retaining wall. I am wondering if its better to run the slope to the house and have a stormtech type grate drain along the house into the storm water, or just run the paving slope into the garden bed, and hope the drainage in the retaining wall will be enough? If i run it to the house, the stormwater will be connected, but it its to the retaining wall, its just drained into the garden. Put a strip drain against the garden side (a couple of courses from the edge, and plumb it to the location you were going to tie into.
