Maple tree looks distressed?

Hi all, apologies if this is the wrong forum for this. We have a maple tree and when it got new leaves only half of it seemed to come back (after last winter). Now, the leaves aren't changing colour. Another one in a different area is, but not this one.

All advice appreciated about what can be done to help it. It's a beautiful tree and I'd hate for it to die.

Thanks in advance.
Shane.
Heya,

I know this also another late reply sorry.
I agree with Daniel86. Was it a really dry year the last two years? Even a well developed small tree like a maple will need extra irrigation over dry periods especially during summer when their fragile leaves can frazzle.
I've seen some maples with aphids all over them that I only noticed when I accidentally shook a few branches and they all fell down into my hair.
You could give it a lime sulphur spray in winter while it's got no leaves just as a preventative for any residual fungal spores or insects (in any stage of development).

Timber or carpet on first floor- which looks good ?

General Discussion

Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same?
