Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: Landscape design in Perth? 2Sep 11, 2008 4:13 pm PM Fu Manchu, he is in the know, I greatly admire his knowledge. Design is not all there is a need to know soil, plant and climate conditions to have a nicely performing garden After the designers and landscapers have left. I have just seen a beautiful garden 500m from the beach/Kallaroo area planted with magnolias, gardenias. All these plants need acicic soils and though they look great today, I do not think they will last long as the base of the soil in Kallaroo is limestone, very alkaline indeed so it just proves my point....
I am just a crazy middle aged gardener so cannot help you professionally but trust me he knows his stuff and if he is not in the field he might recommend somebody good. Maggie of a sub 4km from the beach Good luck cheers Maggie Landscape Design Parramatta We have been doing a large amount of landscape design work in Sydney… 0 3 Need advice on the backyard plan above. Should I excavate and cut all of the dirt to level with the house slab or semi-excavate as per photo above? Both left and right… 0 24869 Thanks very much! And would the landscaper/contractor generally involve the engineer or is that something the client would do? Thanks for your help 2 10030 |
