We've just bought a house which has an alfresco area too small to utilise (we think). We thought about just expanding out with a deck and building a pergola but the existing alfresco is roofed and it's support beam would be just plonked in the middle as I don't think it can be removed to expand??
We then thought about just decking a new alfresco/patio along the back of the house instead, building a pergola and decking a path from the existing alfresco to the 'new' alfresco. Torn!!! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
