Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 21, 2018 3:00 pm Hi, My builder wants us to build timber retaining walls on both sides of the block before building works start. I have been looking for quotes and so far one landscaper sent me. But I'm not sure its the average costs. So help to figure it out, please. Measurements - LHS - 28m length and 800mm height , RHS - 13m length and 600mm. Cost includes drainage and other costs. And the quote came as about $17k. Is that real? Now build all finished, I will have to move it after fence done. What do you mean move it? any issues with the retaining wall? Did you cost involve levelling the land by adding soil? And will you be constructing the fence ontop of the retaining wall?
