Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 06, 2018 7:28 pm I have a section of my brick house which has a garden bed directly against it. I'd like to damp-proof it before I replant. I have a can of bitumen paint but am happy to use other options instead if it's advised? Do I need to dampproof right down to the bottom course of bricks? I've dug out to about four courses and there still seems to be more bricks - I've already filled two bins with soil! Also, are there any alternatives that I should be considering other than bitumen? TIA id suggest getting an engineer to give you an opinion rather than a builder. 1 11915 I am saying that double brick has similar thermal performance due to thermal mass effect. It will be still very interesting to see the state of your framing after 10-15… 10 23140 can’t tell from the photo, a tie down rod will be 12mm, is it a steel beam? he should be able to work it out 1 3372 |
