Sir walter buffalo backyard

Thought i would share our little backyard project went from muddy and useless to green and useful
Here is where we started random trees, really awkward fall and no grass

Bring in the escavator and start digging, took out approx 12 cubes of dirt.

Put in some edging/retaining walls

Laid out some sprinkler system back filled with topsoil and laid the grass. very satisfying moment

Think this was about 8 months later. Added some plants and mulch still needs a slight top dress to fill some holes. Over all was happy with the outcome

and Rambo giving his approval
Looks amazing!!! Great job
What did you use as top dress?

I tried Hortico Top Dress from Bunnings once and it left some bark which got hot and burnt the lawn around it.

It's possible but a soak well is usually much larger. Your 'soak well' only holds 424 litres when full. What is your soil type? Soak wells need sandy soils.
