Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Feb 16, 2018 4:46 pm Apologies for starting a new thread, I couldn't find a general retaining wall one. Anyway: if I build a timber wall with steel posts because we are broke after the build, can we eventually swap the timber sleepers for concrete ones as we find money? Re: Retaining wall question 2Feb 16, 2018 5:18 pm point 1; when you backfill your wall it's going to have to be excavated again to replace the panels. I don't know why they didn't make us do the wall before they started the build. Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5197 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16159 Hi All, I engaged a tradie to install concrete retaining wall 600-800mm high over 32 meters in Victoria.
