Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Dec 22, 2017 7:41 am Hello! I have a wiry weed growing through a Matilda Buffalo lawn. The leaves/blades are small and narrow, it runs in long lengths close to the soil, and self-roots. It is very tough, strong and difficult to pull out - especially as it runs through the buffalo roots. Any idea what it is and how to control it? Many thanks in advance. We have it in our buffalo too. Pretty invasive I don’t know how to get rid of it as roots seem to spread deep in the soil. And buffalo doesn’t tolerate herbicides well. I have heard of spraying it with vinegar as it doesn’t bother the buffalo but haven’t tried it. Maybe call the place you got your turf from and ask them?
