Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Oct 24, 2017 3:49 pm Hi there. I've read all through Fu's guide to soil and lawn prep multiple times so here's my quick question. In Brisbane with a heavy clay soil should I be going through this whole process and attempting to till my imported soil in with what I create out of the clay and additive mix (as per Fu's guide) OR should I just be putting my 120mm of imported soil on top of the clay? My concern with mixing it all together is that I'll actually be reducing the quality of what the turf goes into because of all the clay. Thanks in advance. Michael. the leaves that are now underground go yellow, the tips that poke through photosynthesise and have chlorophyll, same reason they grow rhubarb in the dark. 5 4951 Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting. I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7976 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12592 |
