Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 12, 2017 3:46 pm Hi all, Just looking for some advice from some experienced gardeners. Hubby and I have just recently bought a house with an extremely large expanse of lawn at the front. It is buffalo around the edges and couch in the middle. Looking back at photos from google maps we have realised that the patch with couch used to be a flower bed. It seems like the previous owner planted the couch when they got rid of the large flower bed. We want to encourage the buffalo to take over and get rid of the couch grass. Is this possible??...and how do we do this?? We need advice as the extent of our gardening knowledge is mowing, weeding and watering!! Took a while but was way cheaper than turf. We done our landscaping a year back using Couch, over the recent months I have noticed another type of grass growing with the Couch in a 2x2m radius.
