Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jan 13, 2017 8:16 pm Hey guys, So much useful info here but I'm confused about FU Manchu's post here viewtopic.php?t=22993 I'm going to be planting around 90 murraya paniculata hedging and want to have the right information so I'm prepared. In the meantime, I already have 3 1meter murrayas planted by the previous owner so I'm practising on them. In that post, he mentions "Once these branches have three nodes, make a horizontal cut on the third node; this will encourage multiple stems, and you will end up with at least 12 branches." With murraya paniculata's it's hard to know how many nodes are in the new growth because there's one leaf growing at a time, is a node only when there are 2 leaves? Am I supposed to wait till the new growth is harder (woody) The 3 murraya I have now are a little empty at the bottom and I'd like to see if I can fix it, most importantly how to avoid that with the new major project Most photos and diagrams in the posts are dead (imgur). FU and Toparious are no longer active on the forum since years ago. Toparious always offered to send material through email which doesn't help me now unfortunately Can someome refer me to a good guide that preferably has pictures or illustrations for a dummy like me? I'm totally new the hedging and planting all together I've done all the gigging around I could but no luck Thank you very much in advance If this is a custom build then I would expect the builder to set out the door frame closer to the wall to avoid the gap between architrave and the wall and or specify… 9 8251 I recently went through a similar renovation and move scenario when updating our family home.
