Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jan 09, 2017 2:55 pm I planted a row of Snow Maidens around 12 months ago hoping to eventually form an informal hedge. I spaced them around 90cm to 1m apart. I know it will take a while for the plants to get the point where they meet, but I am getting worried that I have planted them to far apart, as the plants are growing really well upright, but not spreading out. Should I sit tight or is it possible to replant them closer together or will this cause root disturbance? If anyone has created an informal hedge, some advice on how long it takes to achieve and any tips would be appreciated! Regular pruning of new growth ensure that plant bushes out and forms a dense hedge.
