What is eating my lilly pilly?

Ive got 5 Fiji Fire's in the front yard. For the past 1.5years they have been doing fantastic!
But in the past few weeks I've noticed that one of them appears to be under attack.
And on Christmas day I found it had started spreading to 2 others.

It's more than just leaves being eaten - whole branches are broken off or partially snapped.
Any ideas on whats eating my lilly pillys? Im guessing possum's, or possibly some very large bird? Needs to be heavy enough to snap the branches.
The leaves are completely consumed. All that's left is the branch they were attached to. I can't see any evidence of grub activity, and i also sprayed recently.

Looks like possums from the photos. Grubs most certainly do not eat entire branches.
Possums love new growth btw.
