Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Dec 18, 2016 4:31 pm Hi there, So I am quite new to the gardening scene. I have been renting for two years and only realise when a giant weed as tall as me was growing beneath the washing line that I needed to get involved in maintaining the garden as it has been fairly "low maintenance" by my standards. I have had a lot more to do with the front and back yard since then and have a couple of questions: If the piping is split in the irrigation system, should it be replaced? It is all black piping just beneath the surface with sprinkler heads but apparently the piping is horribly cracked. Somehow the lawn still grows mostly. Secondly, why would buffalo grass die in random patches that are watered and previously healthy? Thirdly, what would be a good way to edge between the lawn and a garden bed beside it? Currently it's mishapen big rocks and the buffalo grass has decided to flourish in that area and is impossible to cut. Thanks for any help!
