Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 08, 2016 2:00 am Hi Everyone, In 2014 our Family decided to embark on a large renovation project of our 1930s Californian Bungalow as owner builders.. We spent about 6 months designing our dream home and then a further 15 months to make it all become a reality. The concept of the design has been a "sleeper" house where the front looks no different to any other Californian Bungalow but internally and from the rear the house looks very very different. Now after a couple weeks of down time I need to give the kids somewhere to play. Here is the concept sketch-up I drew 2 yrs ago. Whilst the house is 95% complete the backyard is a giant sand pit. I'm hoping to get some feedback. For those interested in the house renovation you can see it all on the Owner builder section on the Homeone forum.
