Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jun 30, 2016 12:44 pm We have a budget of about 17,000. We have a half acre block but aren't looking at doing the whole thing. Realistically can we do this: * Crushed rock driveway 12m setback + down side of house (5m x 20m) * Crushed granite areas of about 5m x3m and 1m x 5m * Frontage levelled and excavated (on farm land so soil should be good) * No trees / plants required * Watering system for front grass * Watering system for back grass up to 20m from house (not full block) * Automatic watering system * simple edging between driveway / grass area * Grass not required to be installed but possible seeding if budget allows. As far as the frontage level depends how much required to cut/fill. Ring around That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17858 As is per usual for many of the past failed RWH regulations, it is probably traceable to a bureaucrat who's ego overrode the need to seek the appropriate expert… 1 998 Coming back to your old stomping grounds, huh? Renovations on a budget can be quite the journey. It's like giving your house a new lease on life. The twist of not knowing… 1 3476 |
