Hi all,
So I recently moved into this place and one of the paths was completely grown over. Mostly with Wandering Trad.... I was planning a pebble pathway from the ground up, but found they already had compacted red rock, a layer of weed matting and a hint of bluestone pebbles. The weed matting was in tatters, yet no weeds were coming up from the compacted rock. All the weeds were growing on the soil that had accumulated on top of the weed mat. So I dug up as much of the soil as I could, but there is still a fair bit... I dont want to disturb the compacted ground too much and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to how I could get rid of this soil. I was considering a high pressure sprayer and maybe finding that mid spot where I wash the soil, but not the rocks...
And as for the weed matting, dad thinks considering it was in tatters and no weeds were coming up from underneath, I can get away without it. Any thoughts on that theory?
Thanks
