Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 17, 2016 11:59 pm The length of our block is 30m. A retaining wall (1m high) has been built down the left side. At 27m it takes a turn into the block for 3m, then another turn back towards the back boundary but not quite reaching so we can walk into the space. Basically forming a 3m x 3m 'sunken' square in the bottom left corner. This had to be done as there is a stormwater drain in the corner. We now have this cute little space to play with that has views. Because we have young grand-children we will build a little fence of some sort on top of that retaining so the kids don't go tumbling the metre down into the space. Looking for some clever ideas how best to make this a functional space. We thought maybe some climbing plants growing up the retaining, pavers and small table and chairs. Husband also thought maybe making a roof of some sort. I would love to see pictures of other tiny spaces made good. 8 6138 You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want.
