I was going to mount them on a piece of RHS 50mm x 50mm and dyna bolt them to the brick wall on the house. they are pretty heavy duty I would estimate about 40 kg at least. Would one recommend dyna bolting at 3 spots a 50mm x 50mm rhs post to the house to hinge them off. Im a bit concerned about the weight of the gate and the dynabolts cracking the brickwork. I dynabolted a retractable hose reel to the brick wall and the bolts are falling out already when I installed they were tight but over the last 3 months they have loosened off. I can just see the same thing happening with the gate. Update from me! Couldn't find the trimmer - not sure if there isn't one simply because the eave is so narrow. Went ahead with the spring toggles and it all worked out… 7 5877 I should have followed up on this thread.
