Maybe we could put hints and advice on here to help each other out. We have a 5 acre block in Southern Tasmania that is on a fairly steep hillside, with horrible clay all around where the house will be sited. There is nothing growing around it but the rest of the block is bush.We will need a managed area of quite a few meters for the BAL safety area so that will bring its own problems, as well as a septic area, not sure how big that will be as not gotten that far yet. All the driveway has to be kept clear both side and above, for the fire trucks, so anyone within a fire area will have the same problems with that and the plants we are allowed to use in the management area.Also same with the septic.
