Can anyone shed some light on this? As it can filter down quickly into the ground water and create contamination issues in local waterways that ground water feeds into ie the swan river. But this is applicable to any fertiliser. Elsewhere in aust, if you have a sloping site and there is a chance of water runoff into natural water ways then fertiliser use should be limited or used in liquid form. For the rest of us, that the above doesn't apply to, DL is great. Like any organic fertiliser mix it up and use a different one each time so you don't push the soil ph too high. You might be able to apply to divert the sewer at your expense.
