I have had Sir Walter before and don't want it again for a few reasons. I found after a couple of years it became all stiff and spiky, just didn't feel nice to walk on and seemed to be very thirsty all the time. Also, we have kids and dogs with allergies and apparently the buffalo isn't great for that. B) what is the best way to prep the area before I lay new turf? I.e what sort of top soil, fertiliser etc?
