My landscaper is quoting about $500per sqm. Is that reasonable?? Any advice would be much appreciate d viewtopic.php?t=78985 No idea but I recently did a DIY vertical garden at my current house. I purchased 2 of these greenwall blankets from Jamie Durie's website and attached them to a boundary fence in my pool area. Total cost was $350 for coverage of 3.24sqm plus plants and soil. https://www.jamiedurie.com/shop/departm ... ket-large/ Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 226Jul 29, 2016 5:38 pm sco77k Franky40 Guys a quick question does anyone have any idea of how much a vertical garden will cost? If you can share a pic of your vertical garden that will be great viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 228Jul 29, 2016 8:18 pm Sorry my maths is terrible should say around 6.5sqm! I'll see if I can find a photo otherwise I'll take one tomorrow! I mainly used ferns and bromeliads. They tend to die off a bit in winter where I am but very easy to change each plant if needed. Seriously Orph, you still have sometime try getting individual quotes and compare it to the full quote from a landscaper. You will find you can save a significant sum of money if you get individual trades in and do some bits DIY. End of the day it is not rocket science and you have more control viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 231Aug 09, 2016 9:10 am Franky40 Lol I am glad to see my one is not on the list. The badly drawn grey is our driveway instead of what is drawn in the concept plans. We are building on 1 1/2 acres in seq. First pic is what I'm thinking for the front fence.the rest of the fencing will be rural split post dog fencing. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Going to put gardens in either side of the front path. Also thinking of cascading lilly pilly running the fence line from the front to the shed and house. On the rear of the house we have a massive drop from the deck to the bottom of the property search hoping to do something like this Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 235Aug 22, 2016 1:41 pm Thinking round hedges in the garden next to path including rosemary, lavender and what else grows small and in a round shape. Lol You can tell I'm a real gardening expert. Will also do a timber screen between house and tanks. Any suggestions or inspirations appreciated. Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 236Aug 22, 2016 1:42 pm Also thinking of doing crusher dust instead of gravel/pebbles cos I hate rocks. All our neighbours have farm gates. So don't want to be too different. Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 238Aug 22, 2016 2:38 pm Love your landscape plan Craig. It will look spectacular with the ideas your implementing. Love that clothesline as well Much suited to your acreage compared to our urban land, but then again?? who knows Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 239Aug 22, 2016 3:16 pm Thanks trying to go modern country. It's hard to decide. I love the clothes line too. It's so much nicer than the fold down ones. I wasn't going to even have a clothes line cos they're so ugly. Lol Re: Landscape Inspiration & Design Concepts 240Aug 22, 2016 3:17 pm Our land also has no trees. Does anyone have suggestions for nice shady trees, that grow to around 5 metres? Landscape Design Parramatta We have been doing a large amount of landscape design work in Sydney… 0 3 Need advice on the backyard plan above. Should I excavate and cut all of the dirt to level with the house slab or semi-excavate as per photo above? Both left and right… 0 24864 Thanks very much! And would the landscaper/contractor generally involve the engineer or is that something the client would do? Thanks for your help 2 10025 |
