I have been googling and looking through gardening books but unfortunately haven't managed to find the answer yet. It's a deciduous tree with greyish bark and elongated green leaves that blossoms (pink) in spring - hopefully the attached photo does it justice. Any leads would be greatly appreciated - thank you!!
