Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 02, 2015 7:26 pm Hi all I, in the weekend decided to install mp rotators in my backyard as from researching on the homeone forums, these are definitely the pop ups to go for. I decided to go for a simple setup and used 19mm poly pipe which i placed behind my low retaining wall and have the pop ups coming off that. I have also run all my sprinklers in a straight line(not the most efficient way but was hoping it will work without trenching my lawn). I have also in my infinite wisdom decided that i wanted a simple system which i can just plug a garden hose into and have the sprinkler system run off that. So off i went spending a good couple of hours plugging and connecting everything up and flushing the poly pipe out before attaching the popups on. And here's where the nightmare started. It appears that i have got very very low pressure in my garden tap and the pop-ups are barely able to pop up and deliver water! They pop-up about 2cm and spray about 30cm of water. Any suggestions or comments anyone? I am crossing my fingers and hoping i have not spent and wasted about 200$ worth of MP rotators! Comment also if i have done something silly like perhaps not removing a hidden cap within the sprinklers which might be obscuring flow? If it helps, i bought the hunter eco rotators which come with the nozzle and body in a single package installed ready. I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 9352 Okay sorry silly me, my wife has solves the mystery for me. It’s because the labels on the ports are all wrongly positioned by the builder hence it confuses me. 2 1596 I've been with Metronest for a few months now.
