hey all, we have this section down the side of our house that we were hoping to put a few plants in but I have no idea what type of plant would survive growing here (other than the leafy grassy shoots that came up over the past 2 months ).
we are in central victoria, zone 9a, the soil is poor draining clay although there is a silt pit under some of it (closer to that door and drain according to our site plans) and this area is very damp and shady in the cold months, but gets an okay amount of sunlight at other times. frosts are also a concern.
the area is 0.9m x 3.55m and surrounded by concrete (including on the other side of the fence next door)

looking through the shade plants section of bunnings, their peace lilys look really nice, simple and neat, but they say its an indoor plant so I assume they won't handle the cold, and definitely not the frost... we have some left over top soil from our lawn area we can throw in there as well if it can help.
