Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Oct 07, 2015 7:17 pm Hey everyone. I'm planning on changing the levels in our backyard when we install our pool in a couple of weeks. This means the current turf will end up with about 200mm of sand on top. Should we kill the lawn first, I'm assuming we will have to re turf. Current turf is mix of couch and kikyu, if it will grow up I may keep it to save the cost of returfing. Anyone done similar before and what did you do? Definitely kill it first, preferably now to give it time to die off, then remove as much of the perimeter as you can. It really is worth it, and you can apply for an exemption to the watering roster to help it get started with a receipt for the new grass. the leaves that are now underground go yellow, the tips that poke through photosynthesise and have chlorophyll, same reason they grow rhubarb in the dark. 5 4861 isn't a garage level with the rest of the house a given? pretty sure they 'came around' long time ago. if you have a flat block, the garage is usually level with the rest… 1 17525 they can, it's a fairly standard solution when the slab isn't recessed. the falls need to be in the main floor, if it hasn't been done then you need to ask them to redo… 4 6581 |
