Majority of our place is set up for equestrian pursuits but I love gardening and have a few acres set aside to beautify Any recommendations? Someone with area knowledge would be great as we get shocking easterly winds here. One suggestion: plant windbreak hedges, trees or shrubs or even screens/walls. Then you can use a lot more varieties of plants which grow happily in the more sheltered and shaded areas.
