Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 07, 2015 9:22 am Hi everyone Got a question. My wife and I are currently in the building process and will be moving in in 6 weeks. The issue is we are the last house in the street to finish and the fences are done. We went halves with our neighbour on the right with the fence. Now we are looking at landscaping ideas for our block and want to level out the land. To do this properly it means adding backfill to about 45cm on the right side. Since the dirt can't go up against the fence how hard would it be to raise the fence 45cm so I can put 2 piece of pine under the fence to assist as a retaining wall. I'm thinking I may have to remove the fence posts and put higher ones in.. Has anyone done this and how hard would that be. It's very frustrating as the whole Street is on a little slope and all the fences have two pine sleepers under the fence except our one. Hope someone can help Thank you Pulse, I thought we did the right things; external shutters on all windows down all day, west side of the house nearly completely in the shadow of the large two… 6 24986 Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 5767 Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 586 |
