Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 16, 2015 2:39 pm So we laid Empire Zoysia at the previous house and whilst it looked great initially - when our Labrador arrived, it went to crap. The slow growing nature of it makes it not very ideal for what is now a relatively high traffic area not to mention the doggie droppings and urine. To complicate matters even more, the lawn will be laid in the next few weeks, and the dog will be on it within a week or two of laying. She's not really a digger. Any suggestions as to what sort of lawn I should be looking at, and any tips/suggestions I should take into account?
