Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 18, 2014 10:05 pm So our house is nearly ready - and we are just unsure about what to do with the landscaping. I have some idea but just haven't been able to find a good landscape person that doesn't blow our budget. We also want low maintenance. Would it be good to just have a concrete all the way around while we do the driveway to have some cost savings? and then do the rest of the landscaping? any suggestions or ideas are appreciated. ------------------------------------------- Here's a concept map of what we want to achieve: - decking in the front porch and also in the alfresco extending a bit beyond where the current slab is - making some form of wooden seats arising from the wooden deck - loose pebbles and pavers on the sidewalk on one side and then having exposed aggregate on the other sidewalk Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here's a plan just for illustration Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Front downslope Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is looking towards the front Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The alfresco slab Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The other sidewalk - thinking of putting some exposed aggregate Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is the view looking towards the rear Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Landscape Design Parramatta We have been doing a large amount of landscape design work in Sydney… 0 3 Need advice on the backyard plan above.
