With our {velveteen} grass? We laid it at the start of November last year, within a month it started dying, in patches. It started changing colour from green to a silvery green, blades were/are shut, then it turned brown. It started as a small patch and quickly covered the whole back yard, within a month the whole grass was practically dead. Hubby asked a 'greenkeeper' friend who said it was a fungus, so he sprayed with whatever was recommended. It has taken nearly a year for the thing to be basically back (still some patches of deadness) to what it was when laid, only for it to again start dying off in exactly the same way as last year.... and almost to the month. This time hubby is insisting its lawn beetle and sprayed something for them. I think its something else, but what, I dont know. Strangely the only bit that wasn't effected was a 30cm strip running alongside the house.
Anyone have any idea on what it could be?
Thanks
