And if i do how much to add? 2. Perlite comes in ltrs and was wondering how many ltrs to the m2? 3.Garden places are my area are telling me that cow compost is Organic Soil that I'm looking for. Is this true? Thanks In Advance Re: Soil Prep Questions 2Oct 11, 2014 7:27 pm What type is your soil? Bentonite is clay, which will give the soil more substance and holds in water and nutrients. Perlite.. assists free draining and oxygen uptake (acts as a spacer). So they are actually total opposites in the way they work! Any well aged manure added to soil will greatly improve it. I used just a few bags of it to fill holes in my lawn. Worked a treat, and the good news is, there were no weed seeds in it Yay. Sandra Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
