Re: Landscaping our half acre heaven- the blues 184May 17, 2015 4:54 pm We managed to get our fingerlings early, they are now in the pond and quickly found little hiding spots in amongst the rocks. We had to put fine gauze over the pipe to stop them from being sucked up by the pump. Since then the pond has filled up with so much water from yesterday's heavy rain, we are so glad we put some gauze over the overflow pipe as well...or they would all have been washed into the garden. It is such a vigorous grower that we need a few more star pickets to extend the wire around the outside of the tank...
