Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jul 19, 2014 7:36 pm Hi All After some help for plants for our front yard. We moved in in March to a little cottage. We totally ripped the yard out as was shocking. Put up a new picket fence and just have set up retic and just about to lay the lawn and put in plants. But don't know what to put in. Hubby says no roses or he will love them with roundup! I was thinking gardenias. But cant find them. Then maybe azaleas. But I think they may be a little tempermental. I am not a real gardener. Think a person who kills plants! Need something hardy. Not modern which seem to be all the rage at bunnings at the moment. Where have all the nurseries in Perth gone? We are in Doubleview and the only ones I can find are Noranda nursery or Landsdale Nursery. Use to be so many more but I think they have been eaten up by Perth's Urban Sprawl. Any help greatly appreciated. Caz Re: Plants for bungalow/cottage front yard Perth 2Jul 20, 2014 11:56 am HI ShackOTH there are still plenty of nurseries in and around wanneroo. A bit further than Noranda but you'll get a bit of variety that way.
