Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jun 17, 2014 3:03 pm Hi all I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Gardenia Radicans as a ground-cover under standard roses?? We are almost about to start our landscaping and I was talking to one of the staff at a nursery we frequent - and when I suggested Gardenia Radicans as a possibility under our roses - she said it was a good choice as it takes the same "food" as the roses - and also in keeping with the style we want (classic -ish) We are also looking at a feature pot in the front yard - and our choice on the day was a larger bushier Gardenia (not sure which one - probably a Florida) ..... and it too would use the same food - so our maintenance wouldn't be TOO complicated ... as we aren't super green thumbs This pot will be against the house (brick) and is west facing .... our location is western Sydney... I would love some feedback from any forumites who have experience with any of these plants and conditions Cheers Sandy Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16106 I want to build a bigger driveway (without a nature strip) than has been approved under my CDC.
