Previously we had a failing paver type set up, with them up, down and everywhere. This had turned into sand and weeds. Not real pretty or functional. So, with a trailer load of hardwood pallet material kindly available from my work, some hardwood type rails also from work, I came up with this. The stones are "Tuscan" 40 mm. I cleared out the old pavers, dug out the weeds and then laid some garden blend soil down. After levelling out all this the best I could, I laid the boards on top. Then it was on with the stones, and all hosed down. That was about 6 hours yesterday, and then today touched it all up and this is the finished product. Now, I'm not a gardener, nor a landscaper, but I'm finding it really fulfilling doing this sort of stuff. I need to thank you lot for all your ideas I've found on this site too! Thanks.
