Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 11, 2014 11:41 am Hi there, I'm building a new home standard size home in a new estate in Doreen. Landscaping was not an inclusion with my builder, apart from the driveway and a concrete slab alfresco. I therefore need to organise fencing and landscaping. I don't really want anything but a basic start up of grass, supposing that that option is the cheapest and easiest? I intend to plant a few thighs and decorate myself later on down the track, it's just not a priority. Can anyone guide me as to cost range to expect, how to go about finding reviews of local landscapers (finding it hard to find much in the net) and whether I should consider my idea of starting so simple? Any advice and comments will be appreciated Re: So I need a landscaper? 2May 13, 2014 9:21 am We're not having one, we are keen gardeners and will be doing it ourselves. We will get someone in to do the fence and lay the turf. Fencing and turf costs will depend on where you are and what style you would like; turf is $6-10 per sqm depending on type, our fence will be approx $70/m. Your best bet is to talk to people you know in the area for recommendations for tradesmen. Hi, Wondering anyone has any recommendation of good landscaper for new home in southern Sydney?
