Just wondering if someone could tell us what is the usual /average cost of a bricklayer per thousand bricks. I have been quoted $800 per thousand and if we want any tiers on the front fence then they would be an extra $80 each on top. Also we have to provide the bricks. I'd say it's a pretty average cost... we were quoted $500 to lay about 500 bricks (we were to provide the bricks)....... and it still hasn't been done!!!!
